Scholarship interviews are where your application comes to life. It’s your chance to show confidence, share your story, and connect with the committee beyond what’s on paper.
Start strong. When they ask, “Tell me about yourself,” don’t repeat your résumé — share a quick story that shows your values and drive.
Example: Instead of “I’m a senior who loves science,” try “I’ve been building experiments in my garage since middle school — curiosity drives everything I do.”
Then, make sure your answers circle back to two points:
Why you?
Why this scholarship matters to you?
Be honest, smile, and show gratitude for the opportunity.
Quick Wins:
Practice out loud with a family member or teacher.
Research the scholarship’s mission before your interview.
Always end with a thank you and a confident handshake.
